What the app stores, and where

Bevro keeps your stock — what is in your freezer, fridge and pantry, where it is, the dates you enter, your notes and your settings — in a single file on your own device. That file never leaves your phone. We (Vosko-apps) cannot reach it, cannot see that you use the app at all, and have no server for anything to be sent to.

The app also remembers the products you add yourself, so that three letters are enough to find them next time. That list, too, exists only on your device.

What the app does not do

• No account, no sign-in, no email address.
• No advertising and no advertising identifier.
• No analytics, no usage statistics, no crash reporting.
• No third-party trackers or tracking pixels.
• No access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone or photos.
• No internet connection needed — the app works exactly the same in airplane mode.

Reminders

If you switch on the weekly reminder, the app asks your permission once. That notification is scheduled and delivered on your phone itself; no server is involved and no push token goes to us or to Google. Switch it off and the app schedules nothing.

Sharing is something you do yourself

When you make a backup through More → Save the list, the app hands that file to your phone's share sheet. You choose where it goes. Bevro sends nothing on its own and does not record what you share.

The purchase

Bevro is a paid app. The purchase runs entirely through Google Play or the App Store; those companies handle the payment and their own privacy policies apply to it. We receive no name, address or payment details — only an anonymised sales overview from the store. There are no in-app purchases and no subscription.

Storage times are a guide

The app works out how long something stays good, based on the type of food. Those are guide times for quality, not a guarantee: trust your eyes and your nose as well. Bevro gives no medical or nutritional advice and processes no health data.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects data from nobody, children included.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to see, correct and erase your personal data, among others. Because we process nothing about you and store nothing about you, there is nothing at our end to show or delete. Your data is only with you:

• Individual items you delete in the app; a whole place goes when the place goes.
• Uninstalling the app also deletes the file with your stock.
• To take a copy with you, use More → Save the list.

If you have a question or a complaint anyway, feel free to email. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

If something about the app changes in a way that makes this policy inaccurate, we will update it here and change the date at the top. As long as Bevro keeps working the way it does now — locally and without internet — nothing changes.
